Charges - Unlawful entry - Palmerston

Northern Territory Police have charged three males in relation to an alleged unlawful entry at a commercial business in Palmerston on Tuesday night.

At around 11pm, police received a report of suspicious persons walking away from a closed premises.

Police attended the location and identified the closed property had been unlawfully entered. Police CCTV operators continued to search the area and a short time later, located the males believed to be involved.

Two youths, aged 15, and two adults, aged 30 and 36, were arrested and taken to Palmerston Watch House.

One youth and both adults have been charged each with:

  • stealing
  • unlawful entry

The second youth will be subject to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 2005.

The two men will appear in Darwin Local Court today and the 15-year-old will appear in court on 1 February 2021.
