Officers from Strike Force Trident have charged a 15-year-old male with property offences following several unlawful entries in the Darwin region.
Between October 2020 and January 2021, the youth allegedly entered a number of residential properties across Darwin and Palmerston. Police executed a search warrant at his residence yesterday and located a number of allegedly stolen items.
The 15-year-old was arrested and transported to Palmerston Watch House where he allegedly threatened police and spat on a custody sergeant.
He was charged with:
- 2 X unlawful entry
- 5 X stealing
- 2 X damage to property
- 1 X assault a member of the police
He will appear in the Darwin Local Court today.
