Traffic offences – Timber Creek

Police

Northern Territory Police issued a 43-year-old woman with multiple traffic infringement notices in Timber Creek yesterday.

The woman was driving with an expired driver’s licence and 10 occupants inside the 7-seater vehicle, including five unrestrained children.

She was issued with infringement notices totalling $3080 and 15 demerit points for the offences.

Acting Senior Sergeant Craig Gillis said, “It is extremely disappointing. Why would you risk the safety of a child? Seatbelts save lives, it’s that simple.”
