A man who was reported as missing in the Barkly region late last month, has been located alive.

Police conducted land searches across the Barkly region after receiving a report that a 50-year-old man originally from Queensland failed to arrive for work in the remote community of Ti Tree on March 22.

NT Police have since been notified the man has been located alive and well by interstate police.

The individual has requested privacy at this time, and so no further comment will be made.
