Northern Territory Police have arrested a 42-year-old man for drug driving in Tennant Creek this morning.

Police stopped a vehicle about 10:15am. The driver returned a positive road side test result for cannabis.

A subsequent search of a Tennant Creek residence resulted in the seizure of a number of cannabis plants and material. 

The man was arrested and is expected to be charged later today with drug driving, possession and supply offences.
