Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Driver on Friday night.

Shortly before 7:00pm, an unknown male entered a business on Driver Avenue, armed with an edged weapon.

The offender then allegedly jumped over the counter and threatened staff before fleeing the scene towards Temple Terrace.

The male is described as having a dark complexion wearing a black facemask, brown boots, light brown pants, red t-shirt, a dark blue hat and carrying a black backpack.
