Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

About 4:00am, the victim was walking on a footpath between Gilruth Avenue and Atkins Drive towards Fannie Bay, when a small white hatchback pulled up next to him.

The passenger of the vehicle got out and approached the victim allegedly demanding his personal belongings before threatening him with a large edged weapon.

The victim handed over his belongings before the offenders fled the scene.

Serious Crime are investigating the matter.
