Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after 25 vehicles had their windows smashed in the Alice Springs CBD area yesterday afternoon.

Between the hours of 3pm and 6pm, unknown offenders smashed the windows on cars parked across the Alice Springs CBD and hospital carparks.

Members of Strike Force Viper are today reviewing CCTV footage of the targeted areas to identify offenders.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Robert Kent of Strike Force Viper urged anyone with information which may assist with the identification of people involved, to contact police on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and reference PROMIS number 10040492.
