Northern Territory Police are calling for information following a death in a bush camp in Karama overnight.

A police vehicle was flagged down on Vanderlin Drive just after 12:30am by a man seeking assistance for a woman.

St John NT attended, but the woman, aged in her 40s, could not be revived.

Detective Senior Sergeant Jakson Evans said, “It is too early in the investigation to say whether or not there was any foul play involved, and we are treating the death as suspicious until it is determined otherwise.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444.”
