Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an incident on Gregory Terrace this morning.

Police were called around 6:20am to an accommodation venue, where two adult offenders were assaulting staff and a member of the public.

A window at the property was smashed during the incident.

Strike Force Viper has carriage of the investigation and is calling for any witnesses to come forward.

Detective Senior Sergeant Evan Kelly said, “Anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area, or if you saw the incident, please contact police on 131 444 and quote reference 9894009.”

UPDATE 1400hrs:

Strike Force Viper investigators have a 22-year-old male in custody in relation to this incident and investigations continue in relation to the second male involved.

Detective Senior Sergeant Evan Kelly said, “Assaults on workers and behaving in this manner at any time in our community is unacceptable. We have zero tolerance for offending such as this and will continue to investigate the matter until both offenders are placed before court.”
