Charges – Criminal damage – Stuart Park

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 41-year-old in relation to a property damage incident in Stuart Park last month.

Around 6.30pm on 25 January, the man allegedly caused malicious damage to a stationary vehicle on Coronation Street. The incident was captured on CCTV.

The male was charged with the following offences:

  • Criminal damage
  • Possess traffickable quantity schedule 1 dangerous drug in public place
  • Possess less than traffickable quantity schedule 2 dangerous drug in public place
  • Possess/ receive property used in the commission of an offence
  • Possess prohibited weapon
  • Possess controlled weapon x 2
  • Possess fireworks outside of approved period.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Court at 10am today.
