A 55-year-old female Northern Territory Police Officer has been served with a Notice to Appear for the following offence:

• Assault

The officer will be required to appear in the Darwin Local Court on 20 September 2022.

The matter is under investigation by Crime Command.

As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
