Northern Territory Police are currently conducting an operation in the vicinity of Widdup Crescent Driver.

Residents are urged to report any suspicious behaviour in the area following an alleged assault this afternoon.

The man believed to be involved is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, short shaved hair and wearing red and white boxers.
