UPDATE #2: Arrest – Unlawful entry – Berry Springs

Northern Territory Police have arrested another offender in relation to a recent unlawful entry at a business in Berry Springs.

Between 19 and 21 October, 8 offenders were arrested and charged in relation to the incident.

Detectives arrested a 43-year-old male in Casuarina yesterday. He has since been charged with:

  • 2 x Unlawful use of motor vehicle (aggravated)
  • 2 x Damage to property
  • 1 x Unlawful entry (aggravated)
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 1 x Breach bail

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said “Investigations remain ongoing into not only the ram raid but the stolen vehicles as well.

“Strike Force Trident is working closely with the Drug and Organised Crime Division along with local police from Wadeye and the Daly River Region.

“NT Police are committed to ensuring all those responsible will be held to account.”
