Northern Territory Police have arrested a youth in relation to an aggravated robbery in Marrara last week.

Detectives from Serious Crime, Strike Force Trident and Palmerston general duties arrested the 17-year-old yesterday evening after a short foot pursuit.

He is expected to be charged with aggravated unlawful entry and aggravated assault.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Day said “Police would like to thank the members of the public who provided vital information leading to this arrest.

“This was a cowardly attack on a vulnerable couple within their own home and the offender can now appear before court for his actions.”
