Call for information - Aggravated robbery - Katherine

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Katherine early yesterday morning. 

Around 5:30am, police received reports that an 83-year-old man was allegedly assaulted and had his vehicle stolen by a group of 3 female youths.

The incident occurred after the group allegedly asked the victim to drive them home from a service station on Bicentennial Road.

Upon arrival at Callistemon Drive, the offenders allegedly assaulted him several times before fleeing in the vehicle.

The victim has since been conveyed to hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Northern Territory Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call 131 444.
