Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a deceased man was located in Nightcliff this morning.

Around 7am, police received reports of a deceased man located in the vicinity of the Nightcliff Road and Clematis Street intersection. He is described as of Aboriginal appearance, wearing blue shorts and a black shirt.

Detectives are urging any witnesses who may have seen the man in the area, particularly those who have relevant CCTV or dash cam footage, to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference number NTP2400024126.

Investigations into the circumstances and cause of death are ongoing, however at this stage appear non-suspicious.
