Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an unlawful entry occurred in Katherine early this morning.

Around 3:50am, police received reports that the owner of a business on Fourth Street, observed 5 intruders entering their property through CCTV footage.

The owner attended the property and was allegedly assault by an offender before they fled the scene with small stolen items.
