UPDATE #3: Arrest – Unlawful Entry – Berry Springs

Northern Territory Police have arrested the final offender involved in a ram raid at a business in Berry Springs last month.

Police arrested the 36-year-old man yesterday in Darwin without incident.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident have since charged him with:

  • Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Aggravated unlawful entry
  • Stealing
  • Damage property

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said “ Strike Force Trident, Dog Operations, Drug and Organised Crime along with Wadeye and Daly River local Police have all worked together to facilitate these arrests.

“Six were arrested on 19 October, two on the 21 October, one on the 24 October and the final offender was arrested yesterday. This was fantastic work from NT Police with everyone involved in the offending due to appear in court for their actions.

“Police will continue to investigate long after the offence has been committed, eventually we will catch up with you.”
