Northern Territory Police are continuing to call for information after an assault in Driver yesterday.
Around 2:30pm, an unknown male intruder allegedly entered a residence in Driver and attempted to sexually assault a child.
The intruder was disturbed by a resident and allegedly fled the scene from Widdup Crescent in the direction of Mahony Circuit.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his 20's, 150cm tall, stocky with short shaved hair.
Detectives continue to canvass the area, take witnesses statements and examine evidence.
Commander Sachin Sharma said “Police are urging anyone with CCTV in the below areas to check their footage for suspicious behaviour:

- Erldundie Avenue
- Widdup Crescent
- Wilfred Court
- Mahony Circuit
- Greer Court
- Lillian Court
- Waterhouse Crescent
